Installation Day at Governors Island
I traveled to NYC yesterday to install the paintings for the upcoming Governors Island Art Fair. It was a fabulous warm sunny summer day. Four paintings will be outside, one in the vestibule, and five inside.
Liggett Hall is a huge abandoned Coast Guard building and off-limits to the public, so the interior paintings will be viewable through the glass-paned doors in the vestibule. It will be a pretty cool effect.
But the paintings outside and this one in the vestibule will be accessible up close. Or far away.
